Serial Protocol Converter - CL-1570
The CL-1570 unit interfaces railroad warning system equipment with traffic control systems. In compliance with IEEE 1570-2002, the unit exchanges the mandatory supervisory messages defined in the standard, as well as several of the optional messages available for implementation. In addition to traditional relay contact information, such as Preemption and Supervisory confirmation, the CL-1570 exchanges vehicle presence and system health information between the RR and Traffic control system.
